Dear Jennifer,

It has been a while without hearing from you, since our TAFE course. I’m very happy to help you, I’ve just seen an advertisement on SEEK which is an Australian website with many different kind of job applications.

There was this advertisement from the local council, they are looking for a specialist gardener to look after the local parks and the public recreational areas. The job involves maintaining the parks clean, looking after plants, tress, and flowers. You will have to prune the trees, fertilise some areas and you will have to do some weeding regularly. They will supply to you a ute where you can carry all the tools.

I strongly believe that this is the perfect job for you, you have done this job regularly in Italy, I’m sure you won’t have any problem. The only way to apply for this job is going to the website, you should fill out the form that comes up in the application, then upload your CV. It says that they will take two weeks to respond.

Let me know if you need any further help.

Lots of love,

Francesca

Dear Shika,

I hope you and your family are well.

I’m writing to you to respond to your request for help to find a job in Sydney while you are studying here. I’m sure that you will get excellent experience here not only student life.

As you asked, I could recommend you a restaurant called Kadmus, I used to work there in my first year in Sydney. That restaurant is not far from the city and plenty of buses run between that place and the city. Why I am considering this is you mentioned that you planned to live close to the city due to your school.

As I know that you worked as a waitress during your student life and, it could be familiar to work there. In addition to that you are a really outgoing person so that there is no problem to communicate with others and learn there.

I suggest that you could apply on the restaurant website and this is the website

www.kadmusrestaurant.com.au. Then you can see at the top right corner the careers section. Please let me know after that the process of applying for a new job.

Your friend,

Molly.
