I love to read and I think the best way to improve your English language skills and IELTS scores is to read widely. I often come across some great articles which I believe are useful for the IELTS exam. These articles are about the most common IELTS reading and writing topics and they always contain some great lexical resources (vocabulary, collocations, phrasal verbs, idioms etc) and the professional writers often use a range of complex and simple grammatical structures to write their articles.
