Dear Sir or Madam,
SAMPLE ANSWER: 180 words - Band 7.0 to 7.5
This is a letter written by one of my students in class and under 20 minutes. Felipe is a Brazilian student and his IELTS target score is 8.0 for each band. As you can see, his vocabulary is very wide and his sentences are quite accurate. This is a good letter because he was able to show off his vocabulary and he gave as much detail as he could imagine.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to express my interest in obtaining a financial loan in order to start a new business. Please send me some information about the application process, rates and charges.
This new company will be focused on the manufacturing of cosmetics with native Australian plants. The brand will be 100% organic and initially will supply four different products. The products will be for oily skin, dry skin, skin clarification and anti-ageing. Our products will be innovative since no other company is doing the same with these native oils.
To achieve this goal and open this new business, AU$100,000 will be required. This money will be used for all the research, planning, marketing, development and samples. The first products are expected to be launched in one year so I would like to start paying back the money in at least one year and then complete the payments within two years. I understand there will be fees and interest but this is an incredible project and I believe in it with all my heart.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Yours faithfully,
Felipe Brazil
